Located in The Woodlands, Texas, The Club at Carlton Woods is one of the premier country clubs in the Houston metropolitan area. Structural Wood Components was contracted to provide Heavy Timber Trusses and other timber components for the 53,000 sq. ft. clubhouse.

The feature trusses are four, multi-piece, arched Western Red Cedar trusses in the Carlton Room, which serves as the formal dining area of the club. The trusses include decorative external plates, stainless steel bolting, arched webs and adjoining Wood Brackets. Matching timber Purlins were supplied to support the ceiling’s overlying Tongue and Groove Decking.

Ceiling Timbers and other Wood Accent Pieces were also supplied for interior installation in the men and women’s locker rooms, adjoining corridors, and pro shop. Exterior pieces included Western Red Cedar Corbels and Trellis components located around the building’s perimeter.
